Hello, my name is Michael Adamo
I am graduate of Philadelphia University, pursuing 2D/ 3D motion design, motion graphics and post video and sound production. I pursue projects that require graphics creation, whether it be fit for film, television broadcast, or advertisement.
I first became interested in animation at a young age due to my passion for watching films. I began to notice how films are constructed. I found the graphics and hand drawn segments to be very appealing. I soon began drawing in between my Junior and Senior years of High School.
At Philadelphia University, I have taken animation, drawing and design courses while incorporating liberal arts studies. I developed many hobbies, including photography and experimenting with sound manipulation. Throughout my Senior year, I worked on a short film that is focusing on live action footage mixed with motion graphics elements.
I look to further enhance my skills and knowledge of animation. I find enjoyment in building unique assets and combining them to create a worthy polished piece. I can offer a variety of skills to the workplace, having the ability to manipulate everyday realities in ways of personal expression. I have a good ear for sound, can discover quick ways to solve problems and can take criticism well. I apply what I do within my work; it serves as good inspiration. I am a quick learner, easy to work with in any situation and I am always enthusiastic to learn and share my ideas with others.
I am knowledgeable with a variety of software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Studio and Autodesk Maya. I want to polish my current skills, apply them to actual working conditions and gain personal experience.
